Weinstein is the author of the much-heralded collection <em>Children of the New World<\/em>, out this past fall from Picador. It was named one of <em>The New York Times<\/em>&#8216; 100 Notable Books of the Year for 2016, one of only three short-story collections to make the list.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mooncityreview.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/200058659.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-228\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mooncityreview.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/200058659.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"186\" height=\"279\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mooncityreview.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/29243630.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-227\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mooncityreview.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/29243630-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"186\" height=\"279\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.mooncityreview.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/29243630-200x300.jpg 200w, http:\/\/www.mooncityreview.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/29243630.jpg 317w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 186px) 100vw, 186px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The reading will be held at 7 p.m. in the Plaster Student Union Theatre on Missouri State University\u2019s campus. The author will be signing afterward in Paw Prints, where his books are already for sale.
